Das ProRes Material wird auf CF Karten gespeichert, und kann geschnitten werden sobald ein normaler Cardreader mit dem Mac verbunden ist. 

Konzipiert als kompakter Fieldrecorder, beschleunigt die Ki Pro Mini Ihren Workflow “Lens to Post”, indem sie Apple ProRes (auch HQ, LT und Proxy) direkt von der SDI- oder HDMI-Kamera aufnimmt. Während die Kamera auf ihr Band (oder File-based-Media) aufnimmt, zeichnet die Ki Pro Mini gleichzeitig ProRes auf CF Karte zum sofortigen Schnitt auf. Durch ihr besonderes Design und den kleinen Formfaktor ist die Ki Pro Mini leicht an Kameras und Stative zu montieren. Die optionale Mounting-Plate hat eine Vielzahl von Montagepunkten, um die Ki Pro Mini mit praktisch jedem Kamerazubehör oder Zubehörschuh zu verbinden.
